Summary
If clients would like hyperlinks activated on the platform, it is best for them to proceed with automated hyperlinks as they are more stable and cost-effective however, they may choose to proceed with manual hyperlinks instead.
This involves us navigating to a section of text and manually creating a hyperlink to another document. Given the manual process, the links are more expensive and also less stable so we advise they are only used for remedial purposes when all other options have been exhausted.
There may be instances where clients choose to proceed with manual links for their wider linking exercise in which case they will need to complete an index for us.

In order for us to create manual links, we will need the attached index to be populated which includes the:
- Bundle/Tab reference(s) of the document you would like linked, noting each document to be linked should be on its own sheet;
- Page reference(s) the link(s) should be created on;
- Section(s) of text that should be linked;
- Destination reference of the link(s).
Please note it is only possible to create one link based on one section of OCR data e.g. if a string of text is ‘pages 1, 2, 4-5’, it is only possible to create a link to one Bundle/Tab/Page reference.
