Summary

Minor general improvements / bug fixes in v7.18/19 relating to Auto Bundle Tab, Custom Bundles, Golden N, Manage Folders, Search and Sort. 

Notes

  1. Auto Bundle Tab Field (Bug) – This field should now function as expected (see point one of the attached email for outline) and should update as expected when Bundle or Tab value is changed. Bug fixed here which removed the value when other metadata fields were amended.
  2. Custom Bundle Loading (Improvement) – Within the Document Viewer page, when a user tries to add a custom bundle entry, they now cannot choose the ‘Select Bundle’ button until the document index has fully loaded (the button is greyed out). Before, they could select this and it would stop the loading on the page, particularly an issue for larger workspaces.
  3. Custom Bundle Move (Bug) – Users now cannot move a custom bundle folder into a normal folder.
  4. Golden N Symbol Removed (Improvement) – Given this symbol was inconsistent and buggy, it has now been removed. If a client asks where it has gone, contact a SOM.
  5. Manage Folders
    1. Mirror Logic (Bug) – Logic improved to prevent things like: moving a custom bundle into a normal folder (mirror or master synced), prevent mirror folders being created in mirrors and ensuring custom bundle folders created behave like custom bundle folders.
    2. Path Delimiter (Improvement)– Now have the ability to:
      1. Export Metadata – Change the slash folder delimiter in the Folder Path column of a metadata export. By default it is a backwards slash but can be changed to forward slash in the Admin > Settings page if needed.
      2. Import Metadata – Change the slash folder delimiter recognised by Import Metadata for the Folder Path column. By default it is a backwards slash but can be changed in the import window to forward slash.
  6. Search ACL – Users in security groups can now search and get results in the ACL’d folders that they have access to. No longer needs the manual work around. Applies to cases going forward from the point in which a user was last added. Speak to SOM if you think there is still an issue.
  7. Search Loading – Users cannot run a search until index is fully loaded (search button is greyed out), with a loading message appearing for the user.
  8. Sort
    1. Auto Sort (Bug) – Fixes for the auto sorting of folders. DB to follow up with team to explain workflow with auto sorting going forward.
    2. Front End / Back End Matching (Bug) – Issues surrounding instances where the front end does not match the sort on the back end leading to inaccurate exports etc should now be resolved. Shout if any instances that are still problematic.
